A Preview of 2012!  What you can expect!

What do you want to see in 2012 from Pro Equine Grooms?  Doesn’t really matter.  (Just kidding!!  Of course I need you all to tell me where to go.  If I’m on target or if I need to stop and ask for directions.) 

So, this is what I’m thinking I need to do in 2012.  Some of these things will require your help.  Don’t worry, it will be easy.   

First, I need your help to make Pro Equine Grooms go crazy explosive viral in 2012.  On a budget of zippo dollars.  So - this is where you come in.  

I’ll keep plugging and chugging on answering all of your questions on the website.  I will need you guys to press the “share” button.  And the “tweet” button.  And the 1+ button.  And the “share” button again.  I would be eternally grateful if all of you got a few of your friends on board.  

Second, I am working very hard on finding insurance solutions for you Grooms out there.  I am working very hard on finding insurance solutions for Employers, as well, so that everyone that works on a farm can have coverage, not just Grooms.  

Third, I will continue my mission to make our profession into a highly respected one.  A profession where horse shows have special classes just for us - the Groom’s Class.  A profession that supports the education and promotion of Grooms.  This involves bringing Grooms into the spotlight every single day.  

Fourth, I will do my best to create a wonderful NEW series of awards that are sponsored by Pro Equine Grooms.  I hope to be able to develop, find corporate sponsors for, promote, solicit nominations, and award them by the fall of 2012.  (oh boy….)

Fifth, I will continue to host the weekly “Best Grooming Tip” contests.  You will have wonderful prizes to win by just entering your ideas, experiences, tips, and knowledge on the website.  This is so vital to our success!!  The website not only stores our great expertise permanently, it makes all of the data searchable - so finding what you need is as easy as hitting the “GO” button.

Sixth, I will continue to communicate with all of you via email, twitter, google +, or facebook.  If you have a question, send it over!!  If you need something, let me know!  Those of you that have emailed me know that I try my best to get back to you the same day.  For those of you who may have questions, but don't know how to go about asking - email is always available and a really easy way to get me!  Liv@proequinegrooms.com.  

Seventh, I will add videos to our library of awesome knowledge.  

Eighth, I will finally find a way to make more hours in the day.  Because I think I’ll need some!!

Ninth, I will continue my searching for the most innovative products that make our job easier.  I will also continue to bring you information from other experts in the horse industry.  It's not all about brushing and turn-outs.  

Tenth, I will continue to be eternally grateful for all of you that help me achieve these goals.  

I will add, delete, and amend these lofty visions as needed (based on your feedback, of course!)  Thanks for your continued support, and let's make 2012 HUGE!!
