We are looking for someone with experience to oversee and help with the care of our horses and facility. Applicant must be a self motivated team leader, and job requires daily horse handling, grounds maintenance, operation of machinery, feed cart, small tractor and trailer, budget management and ordering of shavings, hay, supplies and the ability to make repairs and improvements on the property. Tasks include turnout, feeding, cleaning stalls, dragging the arena and assisting with projects (fencing, etc.) This is a physical position, applicant must be fit and able to lift 70 lbs and willing to live on site.

Randolph College has an opening for a full-time groom at the Riding Center. Hours begin at 7 a.m. weekends and 7:30 a.m. weekdays, Saturday through Wednesday. Physical labor involved and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted required. Duties include, but are not limited to, stall cleaning, grooming, unloading hay, and working in all weather conditions. Must be able to notice and report health issues with individual horses. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, passion for the work involved, effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
