Sporthorse Veterinary Services and Dr.Mark Silverman is seeking an RVT for a dual position:
Three days a week the RVT would operate the RLT laser and perform treatments for outside patients at their farms. Full training, truck and supplies will be available. Must have current drivers license and clean driving record. Two days a week would be an ambulatory technician and assistant. Laser position required good horse handling skills, ability to work independently, and good knowledge of the equine anatomy. Ambulatory duties involve stocking truck, ordering drugs and supplies, assisting with procedures such as lameness evaluations, X ray, US, Dentistry, Injections, and general ambulatory procedures. We are looking for someone who has good people skills, excellent horsemanship, career oriented, organized, ability to anticipate, and able to manage a flexible schedule. Must have experience and preferably with some young horses and stallions. Needs to take pride in work and enjoy grooming. This is not a riding position, so this needs to be someone that seriously wants to be a groom and be a part of the team. We have nice quality horses, a gorgeous facility, and a great team atmosphere.
