EQUINE WORKING STUDENT
This is a minimum 6 months internship: with possible permanent position available. Vegas quality show open year round is seeking talented individual to train to perform in our elaborate show production. We are located at the Illinois/Wisconsin border in Lake Geneva Wisconsin. Must have basic knowledge of all phases of general horse care, including grooming, capable of riding and willing to learn from our professional trainers. Essential Job Responsibilities:
Caring for 12 polo horses including daily exercise, feeding, grooming & checking for injury or illness, daily stall cleaning
Bringing horses into barn from pasture daily
Feeding grain and hay, being cognizant of nutritional needs of performance horses
Exercising all horses daily either in sets or singly
Preparing/beautifying horses for practices and games
Grooming at practices and games
Doctoring animals when needed
Responsible for cleanliness of barn
Keeping pasture water clean and paddocks clean of manure
Helping with excess ranch work when needed
Flexible with schedule
Self-motivated when put in situations where working alone but also a team player
Being energetic enough to fulfill 15-hour work day in heat and humidity
Ability to operate Gator-type vehicles while on property
Driven to be a leader when necessary
Able to move around the country within the year
Responsible for keeping horse trailer clean and ready for polo
Barn maintenance, stall cleaning, keeping aisle way clean
Ability to be detailed in cleaning duties
Ability to operate small equipment such as pushing a barn vacuum and operating a blower
Ensuring equipment is clean and in pristine condition
Other Job Responsibilities:
Work with polo/ranch manager and/or assistant polo manager as necessary on the scheduling of daily operations
Clean DPS record
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform strenuous outdoor activities
Ability to work closely and collaborate with a wide variety of people, team player
Must be flexible with schedule as job consists of several late night shifts and last minute changes
Qualifications: Prior groom position(s) and experience, US citizen or green card, absolute must

Year-round, full-time groom position available in a farm in Tuscany, Italy. Must have grooming experience.
Responsibilities include mucking stables and feeding (with small tractor), bring horses out to pasture and back, grooming horses, helping with horseriding lessons with children, going out on trail rides when needed. There are 10 horse stalls and other 7/8 horses at the pasture.

Stable Hands/ Grooms wanted for State of the Art Equestrian Facility
Experience is a plus, but we are also considering candidates who may be looking to start a new career who are dedicated, self-starters, motivated, hardworking and who are not afraid to work in an outdoor setting.
Full time hours: 2 days 6am-6pm with an hour lunch break, 3 days 6am-12pm.
The Stable Hands will be responsible for the care, feeding, grooming and cleaning of horses. In this role, the Stable Hands will also be responsible for the care and cleaning of horse stalls and equipment used with the horses and for keeping the stable area clean and neat.
- At least one year of working within a horse stable and/or yard work.
- Experience in stable upkeep and the care, feeding and grooming of horses.
- High School Diploma at a minimum.
- Will be required to work on weekends and holidays, so must have flexible mindset.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Submit to and pass an extensive background check and drug test.
Compensation is $10.00 - $11.00 per hour. Only serious candidates please.
